Janaki Ammal Trust was founded on November 18, 2003, with Mrs. S. Mayadevi as the first trustee, followed by Mr. K. Selvendran as the second trustee.

Since its inception, the trust has been dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities by providing essential support in food, education, and healthcare.
